SEND Report Question 10

What support does the Partnership provide for me as a parent of a child with SEND?

The class teacher is regularly available to discuss your child’s progress or any concerns you may have and to share information about what is working well at home and school, so that similar strategies can be used.

  • The SENDCo is available to meet with you to discuss your child’s progress or any concerns/worries you may have.
  • All information from outside professionals will be discussed with you, with the person involved directly, or where this is not possible, in a report.
  • Personal progress targets /IEPs/ IBPs will be reviewed with your involvement every term.

We know that some children with additional needs can put a lot of strain on their families. If this is the case, please tell us. We can organise an Early Help referral and try to get free help from organisations and charities who work with Devon Children's and Families Partnership. You should either speak to Mrs Farmer, our SENDCo, or Mr Cole, our Headteacher if you need Early Help support.
